2025 CIRCUIT
Critérium Cancún is a different type of cycling competition; disputed on a short circuit closed to vehicular traffic, on Malecon Tajamar, within the city of Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
Race duration is approximately 1 hour, which is shorter than a traditional road cycling race. However, the average speed and intensity are significantly higher, because it is raced on a 1,900 kilometer (1.19 mi) street circuit.
For 2024 edition, the circuit will be reduced by approximately 400 meters, due to the 24-hour construction works of the vehicular bridge that will cross the Nichupte lagoon; so the circuit is in measurements more similar to the distances of the European and North American criterium circuits
